See you in Sofia and hopefully next year in Tokyo too! NatashaTheRobot Glad you enjoyed it! See you soon Fantastic write up&All the funds received under this account will be transferred to the Distribution Committee, which is formed around the local government of the disaster-affected prefecture and will be distributed directly among the affected population of earthquake and tsunamiback to regular page content: Japanese is a challenging language for most who didn't learn it as childrenThe day before the conference, a group of us met up and climbed Roppongi Hills to watch the sunset over Tokyo: So a bunch of international iOS developers travelled to the top of Roppongi Hills and took in the view:) The next day was the first day of try! SwiftIt was also somewhat ironic that in a single conference trip, I learned more about the iOS scene in Japan than a year living there (Granted, wasnt a thing in Japan back then so it was harder!)*** Notice *** If you would like to give money to support relief efforts in Japan, it is possible to donate directly to the Japanese Red Cross SocietyAnd I think you will find Japanese much more satisfying once you learn some actual grammar, rather than just memorizing patterns

While Id heard the number of attendees was around 500, I still wasnt properly fathoming HOW MANY PEOPLE THAT ACTUALLY WAS until I saw the seat layoutEven if youre completelyt bilingual, its still something that requires a lot of training and experienceAdditionally& as three quarters of the conference attendees were Japanese, I decided to try delivering the presentation in Japanese as welltry! Swift was a pretty crazy impossible idea that I had (even though now it seems obvious as many have pointed out), so I wanted to document the journey about how it happened! The Why Ive had a lot of people ask me why I decided to put on try! Swift assuming I have a smart logical explanationXD GuysI hope you find the organization useful and the grammatical lessons illuminatingtry? Swift 2017 We are still reeling offthe excitement and after-work of try! Swift 2016& Im still feeling like Im on #tryswiftconf Day 7

After only catching some random tweets and Slack messages, I didnt have a proper idea of what it was going to look likeI met a lot of different types of people I totally wasnt expecting, including a freelance iOS developer, and a visual effects artist from Sydney! Last night I was lucky enough to be invited to Viteis monthly gaming, sandwiches and beer nights! I made some new friends, got rekt in Bomberman, kicked a few Jigglypuff butts in Smash, and overall had an excellent time! ^^ A photo posted by Tim Oliver (timoliver) on Feb 26, 2016 at 9:16pm PST Kyoto itself is incredibly beautiful:D With larger chairs, THAT ALSO RECLINE as well as a dedicated spot for luggage, it felt like a dream straight after traveling in a plan for 10 hoursAs we were finishing up our final closing announcements, koher took the stage (translated by cjwirth) and gave the most beautiful speech about how we might all be shy and afraid to go outside of our inner circle, but for the party tonight, everyone should make an effort to try to speak to each other! I'm really agree with koher !! I want to communicate with many foreigners I can't translate, unfortunately& #tryswiftconf — Himi Sato (himisanta) March 4, 2016 A system was immediately created where members of the community who could speak both Japanese and English would wear the below sticker, so everyone would know to approach them to facilitate the conversation between Japanese and English speakers! Volunteer translators put this sticker on chest#tryswiftconf #tryswift — try! Swift (tryswiftconf) March 4, 2016 As I walked through the party that night, I couldnt help but feel an tremendous sense of accomplishmentas I saw the diverse conversation groups that have formedXD The trip to Japan was very relaxing, and some of the views I managed to see from the plane were amazing

This was followed by an amazing Karaoke party with both English and Japanese attendees! I cannot overstate how magical this was! The try! Swift Celebration was a big party on the last night of the conference for everyone! #tryswiftconf — (hiragram) March 4, 2016 The best and most rewarding partof the conference was right before the partySkip to content Features Business Explore Marketplace Pricing This organization Sign in or Sign up For my first leg of the trip, I travelled to Kyoto via Shinkansen (The Japanese bullet trains) to catch up with a Perth friend who had moved there for work— Yasuhiro Inami (inamiy) March 8, 2016 But wed love to let you know about try! Swift 2017 when we know more In the meantime, leave us your email if you want to be the first one to be notified about our try! Swift 2017 plans! TL;DR try! Go JP! Very Happy A photo posted by Realm (realmstagram) on Mar 1, 2016 at 5:43pm PST In the middle of the day, I met and hung out with a few of my Twitter heroesI made so many new friends, and I learnt so much more about iOS development that the whole trip was invaluable to both my career and what I love doing in my free time 07f867cfac
